Garbage Department
Our residential garbage collection service begins at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Residential customers should have all materials out for collection by 6 a.m. on the scheduled pickup day. If garbage is not out in time for regular collection, it will be picked up the following week.
Recycling Pickup Schedule
Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, recycling is picked up every other week on the same day as trash. If your recycling container is not out in time for collection, it will be picked up on the following scheduled collection.
Holiday Pickup Schedule
Garbage, yard waste, and recycling will not be collected on:
- New Years Eve
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If the holiday falls on a weekday (Monday - Friday) residential service will be backed up one day. Example: Thanksgiving lands on a Thursday, so Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday and Friday customers will be picked up Saturday.
